1 - How to Participate
Entering the competition is free and easy. You need to be between 14 and 30 years old and must live in the USA.
Educators Credit Union staff members and the FoolProof Team are not allowed to participate.
To enter the contest: send your pictures to: contest@foolproofhq.com
You can send between 1 and 3 images. We'll give you the specs in a minute. Send us the form below, too. Without that, we can't consider your pictures.
2 - Jury
Judging will be conducted by the FoolProof Team, and what we say goes: our decision will be final.
3 - Prizes
Every month we select a winner, who receives a $20 iTunes gift card.
The monthly winners are automatically entered in Attitude's "Photo of the Year" contest. Our yearly winner gets that $300 Best Buy gift card.
4 - Images Details
Photographs must be in .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format and have a minimum 1200 pixel width. Please send only appropriate pictures…you know what we mean. Inappropriate images will not be considered.
Does you pix have a recognizable person in it? That's great, but we can't consider your picture if you don't submit a "model release" signed by that person or a parent or guardian, if the person is a minor. Here is a sample model release. Just print it out, get it signed, and send a copy in with your email. (Sorry about all the work! That’s the law, these days.)
5 - Photographer
By sending us a picture you are telling us that you personally shot that picture. If you didn't, you can't enter or win.
6 - Timing
The competition is open year round, but we have the right to stop it after awarding our first yearly prize.
7 - Use of the Images
FoolProof and Educators will only use your entries on our websites, or to promote this contest. The pictures you send us remain yours. We do not in any way claim ownership of any of the pictures sent to us. But you are giving us permission to use the pix on our websites or in the promotion of our contest.
8 - Privacy
If you're a winner, we will publish your name with your pix, and the media might publish your name and picture, too. If you don't want us to publish your name, please don't enter a picture.
9 - Do you agree to all this stuff?
We know it’s a bore, but it's the law, like we said.
